PLDT has finally published the new speed upgrade across all of their Home DSL Family Plans starting with Plan 1995 which is now at 8Mbps an Plan 3000 which is bumped up to 15Mbps. PLDT is planning to offer solar power solutions through monthly subscription plans bundled with its internet services, aiming to make solar energy more accessible to households. When the power went back on, everything seemed normal except for the SpeedStream 5100 ADSL modem that PLDT provided with my line. Looks like PLDT is aggressively selling its DSL service, now with a residential package of Php999 per month (PLDT Plan 999) at speeds of 384Kbps. This is the former bandwidth allocation for their Plan 1995 which is now at 512Kbps. With the introduction of DSL Plan 999, I think PLDT will soon be upgrading existing subscribers to higher bandwidths.
