Niantic has announced new features for Pokemon GO which allows you to connect with real-life friends, send items, and even trade Pokemon. Adding friends in Pokemon GO is now possible. You can also build your Friendship Level by trading Pokemon. If you’re near a friend and have a Trainer Level of 10 or higher, you can trade Pokemon you’ve caught with that friend. You can also do Special Trades to receive a Legendary Pokemon, a Shiny Pokemon, or a Pokemon not currently in your Pokedex. The Pokémon Company International has recently unveiled Pokémon TCG Live, a new app that will enable Trainers to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game through an updated digital format. The announcement comes as The Pokemon Company International continues its celebration of the brand’s 25th anniversary. “As we look back on 25 wonderful years of Pokémon, we are once again reminded of how the Pokémon Trading Card Game has always been a strong pillar of the franchise and beloved by young and veteran Trainers alike,” said Barry Sams, Vice President of the Pokémon TCG at The Pokémon Company International.
