A few days after the Philippine government started blocking adult sites in its effort crack down on child pornography, Pornhub has stated that it's open to working with the government to meet their standards. The Philippines was ranked #14 in Pornhub's Top 20 Traffic Countries in 2016. Back in 2014, the NTC has sent out a memorandum circular requiring ISPs and telcos to block sites with child porn. On January 14, 2017, we reported that ISPs has started blocking popular porn including Pornhub and Xvideos. 8 with Canada and Taiwan for the largest revenues from pornography in 2006. This is according to the Internet Pornography Statistics report by Jerry Ropelato of Top Ten Reviews. Cookie-cutter porn websites are outsourced to freelance web designers that starts at $1,000 a pop. While our national broadband average is still nowhere near that of Singapore or Hong Kong, broadband and mobile internet speeds have significantly improved in the last few years.
