OpenAI has launched Prism, a new AI-native workspace designed to simplify scientific writing and collaboration. Powered by GPT-5.2, Prism brings drafting, editing, equations, citations, and teamwork into a single cloud-based, LaTeX-native environment. Prism helps researchers who need to switch between PDFs and LaTeX editors and reference managers and chat tools because their work processes become disorganized.
