NetEase, the creator of mobile battle-royale games Rules of Survival and Knives out, is being sued by PUBG Corporation for copyright infringement, trademark infringement, and false designation of origin, according to the formal complaint document, which was made public by Torrentfreak. "PUBG has suffered irreparable harm because of Defendants’ unlawful, unfair, and/or fraudulent business conduct and will continue to suffer irreparable harm in the future unless Defendants are enjoined from their unlawful, unfair, and/or fraudulent business conduct," as stated in the complaint. The suit ends with PUBG requesting NetEase stop distributing each and every version of RoS and KO, as well as stop supporting and developing them. Moving forward, it's up to the courts if PUBG's case holds any water. Officially licenced PUBG Mobile is on beta test in Canada but an APK file has been making the rounds for download. Just like the PC version of PUBG, the PUBG Mobile still has 100 players that are dropped on an enormous 8x8 km battlefield. Seems like the wait is over as the official PUBG Mobile is already available for download at Google Play. Last week, the official PUBG Mobile was running on beta test in Canada.
