The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has released an initial list of PUV drivers eligible to receive the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) from the DSWD. Due to the imposed enhanced community quarantine, Public Utility Vehicle drivers are unable to operate. To compensate for the loss of livelihood, the DSWD, in partnership with the Department of Transportation (DOTr), Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), and Landbank of the Philippines will be giving out financial aid for the affected drivers.
