The local government of Quezon City has recently announced the online registration for its QCitizen ID that allows residents of the city to access various services, including the Quezon City Bus, health, and other social services. UPDATE: As of 5:51 PM of January 7, 2021, the link for the QCitizen ID application is currently having a server upgrade to accommodate more applicants. As shared by City Administrator Mike Alimurung, the QCitizen ID is a unified ID system for all residents that aims to also replace the existing senior citizen, solo parent, and persons with disability (PWD) ID over time. Those who are interested to apply for the QCitizen ID must create an account first on the city government’s E-Services portal. QC residents cannot also use a single QC E-Services account to register for multiple QCitizen IDs or use their relatives' accounts. The city will provide all citizens with a QCitizen ID number and digital ID, but only residents 15 years old and above will be given a free physical ID card. There will also be a digital version of the ID, which can be accessed through the QCitizen App for iOS and Android devices. For more information, visit the QCitizen ID FAQs page.
