The other two processors, on the other hand, belong to the Snapdragon 600 family which comprises Snapdragon 618 and the Snapdragon 620. The Snapdragon 618 are equipped with two, while the Snapdragon 620 was endowed with four. All of Qualcomm’s new processor are LTE-capable, albeit the Snapdragon 415 only has Qualcomm X5 LTE module which is peaks at 150Mbps DL and 50Mbps UL, while the rest of the gang are equipped with a Qualcomm X8 LTE modem which are capable of download and upload speeds of up to 300Mbps and 100Mbps respectively. Qualcomm has announced that its annual Snapdragon Summit will take place from September 22 to 24, 2026, in Hawaii, where the company is expected to introduce its next-generation Snapdragon processors. While Qualcomm has not officially confirmed the products that will be unveiled during the summit, the Snapdragon Summit has traditionally served as the company's stage for introducing its flagship mobile platforms. Industry reports also suggest that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series could be Qualcomm's first flagship mobile processors manufactured using a 2nm process, although the company has yet to confirm the manufacturing details or pricing.
