#Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 5G specs

Qualcomm recently announced the Snapdragon 690 5G, the first 5G-ready chipset slated for mid-range smartphones. This also makes the zooming transitions of telephoto, ultra-wide, and wide camera sensors seamless.  The Snapdragon 690 5G also improves mobile photography by enabling 4K HDR video recording at 30fps, photo capturing up to 192MP via Qualcomm Spectra 355L ISP, faster autofocus, and noise reduction to make subjects sharper. Mobile devices with Snapdragon 690 will be available in the global market by the second half of 2020. Qualcomm has announced that its annual Snapdragon Summit will take place from September 22 to 24, 2026, in Hawaii, where the company is expected to introduce its next-generation Snapdragon processors. While Qualcomm has not officially confirmed the products that will be unveiled during the summit, the Snapdragon Summit has traditionally served as the company's stage for introducing its flagship mobile platforms. Industry reports also suggest that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series could be Qualcomm's first flagship mobile processors manufactured using a 2nm process, although the company has yet to confirm the manufacturing details or pricing. Qualcomm is expected to share additional details about the event as Snapdragon Summit 2026 draws closer.
