Qualcomm has announced their new chipset that offers premium features in gaming and AI, the Snapdragon 712. The Snapdragon 712 is the successor of the Snapdragon 710 announced last year. According to Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 712 provides up to a 10% increase in performance over the Snapdragon 710. As for other features, it is equipped with a Snapdragon X15 LTE Modem that can support 4G LTE 4x4 MIMO and License-Assisted Access (LAA), Qualcomm Spectra 250 camera ISP for up to 32MP images and 4K videos with video noise reduction, and Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ technology. Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon C platform, a new processor designed for entry-level laptops priced starting at around USD 300. Qualcomm said laptops powered by Snapdragon C are expected to launch later this year from brands including Acer, HP, and Lenovo. Qualcomm has announced the new Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processors. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 includes AI-powered camera features, Qualcomm Adaptive Performance Engine 4.0 for gaming, up to 21% better GPU performanc, and support for Wi-Fi 7 and ultra-fast 5G connectivity.
