Qualcomm has just announced its newest mid-range processor, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. The processor is said to be closer to the previous Snapdragon 7 Gen 1  than the recently launched Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor but is said to be less capable in some ways to its predecessor. It also has a Snapdragon X62 5G Modem-RF System for download speeds up to 2.9Gbps with mmWave and its Qualcomm FastConnect 6700 Mobile Connectivity System allows for fast Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. For gamers, it has Snapdragon Elite Gaming with Variable Rate Shading, Qualcomm Game Quick Touch for reduced touch latency, and Qalcomm Game Color Plus for more vibrant visuals. Qualcomm has announced the new Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processors. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 includes AI-powered camera features, Qualcomm Adaptive Performance Engine 4.0 for gaming, up to 21% better GPU performanc, and support for Wi-Fi 7 and ultra-fast 5G connectivity. Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 can deliver up to 77% better GPU performance and supports 90FPS gameplay which is a first for the first time in the Snapdragon 4 series. According to Qualcomm, upcoming devices powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 will come from brands including HONOR and REDMI.
