#Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G

Qualcomm has released its latest 5G-ready mobile processor that succeeds the Snapdragon 865 Plus. Dubbed as the Snapdragon 870 5G, the Snapdragon X55 5G Modem-RF System and the Qualcomm FastConnect 6800 Subsystem are the processor sports. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G will debut on Motorola. Qualcomm has announced that its annual Snapdragon Summit will take place from September 22 to 24, 2026, in Hawaii, where the company is expected to introduce its next-generation Snapdragon processors. While Qualcomm has not officially confirmed the products that will be unveiled during the summit, the Snapdragon Summit has traditionally served as the company's stage for introducing its flagship mobile platforms. Industry reports also suggest that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series could be Qualcomm's first flagship mobile processors manufactured using a 2nm process, although the company has yet to confirm the manufacturing details or pricing. Qualcomm is expected to share additional details about the event as Snapdragon Summit 2026 draws closer. Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon C platform, a new processor designed for entry-level laptops priced starting at around USD 300.
