Razer has introduced a new Blade Pro 17 model with a 17.3-inch, 4K, 120Hz touch display, Intel Core i7-9750h processor, Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 Max Q with 8GB GDDR6 VRAM, 16GB dual-channel SODIMM RAM running at 2667Mhz, and 1TB PCIe NVMe. In typical Razer fashion, the keyboard is powered by their per-key RGB Razer Chroma with anti-ghosting. For wireless connectivity, the Razer Blade Pro 17 comes with Wi-Fi 6 (Intel AX200) and 802.11ax Wi-Fi wireless networking with support for IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax. Audio-wise the Razer Blade Pro 17 comes with stereo speakers, an Array microphone, Dolby Atmos support, and 7.1 Codec support via HDMI. Today at CES 2018, gaming hardware company Razer has announced a partnership with lighting giant Philips, for integration of the Philips Hue Entertainment API with the Razer Chroma lighting system. What this means, is that gamers will be able to sync color-capable Philips Hue smart lighting with Razer Chroma-enabled laptops and peripherals. “Razer Chroma is the world’s largest lighting ecosystem for gaming devices, and with Philips Hue, we are transforming the gaming experience in the home,” Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan said.
