The Redmi 5 Plus has some changes in its design and construction compared to its predecessors. Comparing its camera specs to the Redmi 4, the device's camera resolution and aperture have decreased a bit. [gallery type="square" ids="169294,169295"] The Redmi 5 Plus runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat with the latest MIUI 9.2. The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus is priced at Php9,800 (see price listing here). The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus was released last December and has promising specs - a 5.99" 18:9 Full HD+ display with 1080 x 2160 resolution, Snapdragon 625 processor, 32GB/64GB internal storage, 3GB/4GB RAM, a 12MP rear camera with pixel sensor and LED flash, a 5MP front camera with soft-light LED flash, and a 4,000mAh battery. However, the Redmi 5 Plus wins due to its larger screen size and resolution which is good for watching videos, viewing photos, and gaming. The A83 has a Helio P23 processor and it yielded 67,496 in the AnTuTu benchmark test. We have not yet tested the Redmi 5 Plus yet but we have the Redmi Note 4X's which also carries a Snapdragon 625 processor. The A83 has a higher rear and front camera resolution compared to the Redmi 5 Plus.
