A Samsung representative has indicated that the Gear VR will be sold with a price tag of just $199. However, bear in mind that the Samsung Gear VR will be using the Galaxy Note 4 as the HUD so that entails another $799 (~Php35,000) to build the whole set. We're expecting the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to arrive in the Philippines sometime late October but we're not sure if the Gear VR will tag along with it. The regular Galaxy Z Fold8 uses a smaller 7.6-inch main display and weighs 201g, making it Samsung’s lightest Galaxy Z Fold model so far. Samsung also added Galaxy AI features optimized for their foldable displays.
