Samsung's hybrid semi-compact camera, the NX10, was sort of a challenger for the micro four-thirds market but the price tag was a bit of a turn-off for a lot of people. So, they made the Samsung NX5 to address that price issue. You basically get the same specs of the NX10 on the NX5 but Samsung skipped that pretty 3-inch AMOLED screen to be able to offer it cheaper. My guess is that the Samsung NX5 will go somewhere between Php30k to Php35k. First time I got hold of the NX10 from Samsung, I thought it's a nice-looking compact dSLR. The Samsung NX10 falls under an entirely new category and Samsung intends to carve a market for it. For a lack of a proper term, let's just use "SLR-style" camera when we refer to the Samsung NX10.
