The rumored new Samsung i8510 that tows in an 8-megapixel camera and a 16GB internal storage becomes official.

This new Samsung i8510 phone will be named Innovate or Innov8.

I’m unsure if this one is better than the wider screen and touch Samsung Omnia but I guess there’s room for one more. I reckon that the Samsung i8510 is positioned against the Nokia N95 while the Omnia is targetted as an iPhone alternative.

this phone is quite tempting. however, quite expensive too… 1170USD—> ~P50k+! that’s worth a laptop already. is that for real? if only the price is not that high i’ll buy this phone. but i’m willing to wait for this phone.

Looks cool – only small complaint is that it is using an LED flash – seems crazy to provide such a good camera without a zenon flash. i reckon with symbian s60/3 it will run Uzzap very well though :)

I would love to get my hands on this… Though I might prefer the Omnia still. Windows Mobile > Symbian. :-)… Though prefer Linux for desktop/laptop computing over Windows XP/Vista.
