Western Digital's SanDisk plans on launching the first 8TB secure digital (SD) card and 16TB external solid-state drive (SSD). SanDisk will soon have the world's first 4TB microSDUC, 8TB SD card and 16TB external SSD. There is no official pricing yet for these storage devices, but with the SanDisk 1TB Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I is priced at around USD 139.00, we should expect these future devices to come with a heavy price tag.
