Nintendo and Western Digital have teamed up to create trusted SanDisk microSDXC cards for use with the Nintendo Switch. The officially licensed cards will come in 64GB and 128GB varieties and will bear the Nintendo Switch and SanDisk logos. Samsung partners with SEGA to launch Sonic the Hedgehog-themed PRO Plus microSD cards. Western Digital's SanDisk plans on launching the first 8TB secure digital (SD) card and 16TB external solid-state drive (SSD). SanDisk will soon have the world's first 4TB microSDUC, 8TB SD card and 16TB external SSD. Both the microSDUC and SD cards will have read speeds up to 100MB/s.
