On February 15, President Duterte has inaugurated the Sangley Airport Development Project (SADP) in Cavite. As of last Saturday, the Sangley Airport is now 100% operational and can cater to turbo-prop commercial cargo aircraft. President Duterte also applauded Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade for completing the SADP, describing him as "Competent and bright." The supposed completion of the Sangley Airport was originally set in March 2020 but was completed in November last year. Noveleta mayor Dino Reyes-Chua, co-owner of SkyJet Airlines, stated that constructing an access road that traverses NAIAX to go to Sangley airport will further lessen the travel time of motorists. Sangley Airport is currently under construction which is an alternative airport to NAIA for small airplanes to address the airport's traffic congestion problems.
