You've read about the dangers of the Heartbleed bug with what it could do and what it basically does to online accounts. Based on one Filippo Valsorda's tool, the Chromebleed extension alerts you when the page you're viewing has been hit by the most dangerous bug yet. Just received an SMS from my account manager from Security Bank early this morning (this was after one missed call). Then, we noticed several other Security Bank customers also report of the same SMS confirmation (just that mine was more personalized). I was also told by my account manager that this is a new security policy they are enforcing, especially if the withdrawals are sizable. The Philippines and the European Union (EU) are working together to improve digital connectivity, strengthen cybersecurity, and expand access to satellite data under a new initiative aimed at supporting economic growth and disaster resilience. The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has raised concerns over the future of its Land Transportation Management System (LTMS), citing unresolved cybersecurity issues and system deficiencies as the agency opposes a proposal to extend its contract with technology provider Dermalog. According to the LTO, the deficiencies could expose millions of driver and vehicle records to potential security risks and may affect compliance with the Data Privacy Act.
