Globe has launched its very own National SIM Registration Week starting today, February 20, 2023, providing assistance desks in around 500 locations nationwide to help its customers register their SIM cards. Globe says that the SIM registration week is its means of reaching out to its patrons, particularly senior citizens, PWDs, pregnant women, basic phone users, and those with no internet access, to register their SIMs before the April 26, 2023 deadline set by the SIM Registration Act. Aside from the National SIM Registration Week, Globe has introduced other measures to get their customers to register their SIMS such as opening assisted SIM registration in over 30 Puregold branches, putting up registration booths in 15 different areas, and enabling one-step registration for its postpaid and platinum users.
