In a disclosure to the PSE and SEC, Sky Vision Corporation (“Sky Vision”), ABS-CBN Corporation, Lopez, Inc., and Cignal Cable Corporation (“Cignal Cable”), announced that they have mutually agreed to terminate the Sale and Purchase Agreement dated August 10, 2022. SKYcable informed subscribers that it will discontinue several HBO channels starting 11:59 p.m. These channels will no longer be part of the regular SKYcable lineup beginning December 1, 2025. In an announcement today, ABS-CBN released a statement that its Sky Cable sale to PLDT will "no longer push through". This surprising turn of events happened after all regulatory requirements were approved and Sky Cable ceased operations. Sky Cable also ended its cable broadcast last February 26, 2024. Sky Cable has now reversed its announcement to subscribers that their cable TV service will continue to operate. Sky Cable announced today that it will cease cable television broadcasts on February 26, 2024, at 11:59 PM.
