SKYcable informed subscribers that it will discontinue several HBO channels starting 11:59 p.m. on November 30, 2025, affecting subscribers across the Philippines. The company shared the update through an advisory sent to its customers.
The channels that will be discontinued include HBO, Cinemax, HBO Hits, HBO Family, and HBO Signature. These channels will no longer be part of the regular SKYcable lineup beginning December 1, 2025.
According to SKY, customers who subscribe to these channels through Select, the company’s top-up service, will no longer be billed for them starting December 1. The adjustment will appear in their next billing statement.
SKY encouraged subscribers with questions or concerns to reach out through its 24/7 virtual assistant via the official SKY website. The company also said it remains committed to providing a wide range of entertainment options despite the discontinuation of these channels.
The advisory ended with SKY thanking customers for their understanding and continued support.
