One of the options to get this new foldable smartphone is through a postpaid plan. Good thing, both Smart and Globe now offer the device for pre-order until September 12 with various plan choices. Smart's Signature Plan starts at PHP 999/month (Signature S with Device), while Globe's GPlan starts at a lower PHP 599/month with a one-time cashout of PHP 57,600 (256GB) or PHP 62,400 (512GB). Getting the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G (256GB) with Globe's GPlan 999 only requires a one-time cashout of PHP 54,000, while Smart's Signature S with Device (PHP 999/month) requires PHP 61,998. On the other hand, the 512GB model requires a one-time cashout of PHP 58,800 (Globe's GPlan 999) or PHP 66,798 (Smart's Signature S with Device). Both telcos' PHP 999/month plans offer 5GB of data and unlimited texts and calls to all networks. However, Smart only gives limited landline calls (from 50 to 300 minutes depending on the plan), whereas Globe gives unlimited calls to DUO and landline.
