The Mi 5s sports a 5.15" 1080p display complete with pressure sensitivity, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that's claimed to be better than most scanners on other phones. While the announcement of the Asus Zenfone 3 pointed to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip with a 2.15GHz quad-core processor. Apparently, there's another variant that shows a Snapdragon 821 chip, according to marketing materials provided by Asus. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chip is just a slightly faster one with a top clock speed of 2.3GHz or 0.15GHz faster (7%) in terms of raw power. It's most likely that the 4GB/SD820/64GB variant will be priced $499 (~Php23k) while the one with 6GB RAM, SD821 and 128GB storage will be priced a little bit higher. Qualcomm has released a development smartphone and tablet that touts the latest Snapdragon 810 processor. In addition, its Adreno 430 GPU can output 30% more performance than the Snapdragon 805’s Adreno 420 while supporting 4K display resolution. Price tag for both devices are pretty steep, but do consider that having one means you're one of the firsts to have a device running the Snapdragon 810. Interested buyers can snag one this December.
