Sony's location tracking service, my Xperia, is officially closed. As seen from Sony Mobile forum, some Xperia users have shared that they can't find the my Xperia app in their phone even though they don't remember deleting the app. Sony has replied and said that the my Xperia service and Protection by my Xperia are discontinued starting from Xperia XZ Premium, that is why users can't find the service in the settings menu. Sony suggested to use the Google app/service called "Find My Device" instead. Sony has recently launched its new remote security service for Xperia smartphones called 'My Xperia'. In essence, My Xperia is similar to Apple's 'Find my iPhone' service which helps you track your lost or stolen smartphone. With My Xperia, you just have to sign in on myxperia.sonymobile.com with the Google account you use on your Xperia and it will automatically link your smartphone to the My Xperia service.
