Sony has just signed an agreement with Niantic, Inc, which develops augmented reality mobile games, for a joint collaboration in the area of auditory AR for headphones. Sony is developing products that allow users to enjoy the sound of the virtual world from headphones while capturing the sounds of the real world, it says. Sony has just announced the Sony LinkBuds, which allows users to both listen to the virtual world and real world for a “Never Off” experience. Sony finally lent me one of their limited Sony Vaio P to test out for a week. Sony has been taking it's time to get its own netbook out in the market and at the same time, criticizing other manufacturers for a mediocre product.
