Sony Philippines unveiled several laptops yesterday including their new entry-level netbook called the Vaio M. At first glance, the Sony Vaio M looks very similar to the earlier netbook they launched last year, which is the Vaio W. The Vaio M has a 6-cell battery capacity compared to the 3-cell on the Vaio W. The Vaio M is available in blue, pink and white and will retail at the same price point as the Vaio W (which, last time I checked, was selling for Php29,000+). Sony finally lent me one of their limited Sony Vaio P to test out for a week. For the meantime, feast your eyes on a ton of gorgeous photos of the Vaio P. Sony has been taking it's time to get its own netbook out in the market and at the same time, criticizing other manufacturers for a mediocre product. Well, it looks like its own Sony Vaio Pocket netbook will be put to the test now that details have been leaked.
