Initially launched last September 5, Sony has launched its newest flagship smartphone under the Xperia series called the Sony Xperia 5. The Sony Xperia 5 is priced at CNY 5,399 (~PHP 39,659). Sony has announced the Xperia 1 VIII, its latest flagship smartphone focused on photography, audio, and AI-powered camera features. The Xperia 1 VIII also features an upgraded telephoto camera with a larger 1/1.56-inch sensor. Sony also retained features such as the dedicated camera shutter button and 3.5mm headphone jack. Sony has confirmed that it will launch the Xperia 1 VIII on May 13 at 11:00 AM JST.
