Sony has just launched the Xperia 8, a new mid-range smartphone, in Japan. Sony has confirmed that it will launch the Xperia 1 VIII on May 13 at 11:00 AM JST. Sony is also expected to announce the A7R VI full-frame mirrorless camera and a new 100-400mm f/4.5 GM lens during the launch.
