Soon after announcing their plans of integrating Mozilla’s HTML5-based platform on some of their upcoming handsets, Sony has ported the Firefox OS to Xperia E looking to get “valuable community feedback” from developers. Sony’s decision to use this handset instead of their other better spec’d smartphone is based on the fact that Xperia E’s configuration closely resembles the first two handsets (Alcatel One Toch Fire and ZTE Fire) that bears the open source platform.
