Though not yet officially launched in the Philippines, the Xperia Tablet Z has showed up in Villman's website and priced at a higher price than what we expected. The Xperia Tablet Z follows the same industrial design as the popular Xperia Z smartphone. Sony’s Xperia 1 VIII has surfaced in an eSIM database, hinting that the next-generation flagship is already in testing. Despite Sony’s quieter smartphone strategy in recent years, the Xperia 1 VIII seems ready to continue the brand’s legacy of creator-focused, camera-first Android flagships. While details on design and cameras remain scarce, Sony is expected to debut the Xperia 1 VIII in mid-2026, roughly following the Xperia 1 VII’s June release schedule. In an email by Sony Ericsson today, the new Sony Ericsson XPeria X1 phone will be coming out to the public tomorrow in stores but people who made early reservations are supposed to get their own units today. It took a while for Sony Ericsson to finally release the suggested retail price as there have been huge fluctuations in peso-dollar exchange rates in the past several weeks. Aside from the iPhone 3G, the Sony Ericsson XPeria X1 is probably one of the most highly anticipated smartphone for the year 2008.
