Sony has officially introduced the Xperia XA2 Plus and it sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, a six-inch display, and a 23-megapixel rear camera. The XA2 Plus is the first device in the lineup that sports a taller 18:9 aspect ratio display. In an email by Sony Ericsson today, the new Sony Ericsson XPeria X1 phone will be coming out to the public tomorrow in stores but people who made early reservations are supposed to get their own units today. Aside from the iPhone 3G, the Sony Ericsson XPeria X1 is probably one of the most highly anticipated smartphone for the year 2008. Aside from the usual Windows Mobile navigation and interface, Sony Ericsson added an XPeria Panel UI to easily launch applications or features from the front screen. Got first dibs on the new Sony-Ericsson Xperia X1 and I took tons of shots to share. Got to talk to the General Manager of Sony Ericsson Mobile this afternoon and asked some more questions about the launch of the Xperia X1.
