Spotify has started notifying Premium customers in the Philippines about the price increase for the monthly subscriptions from Php129/month to Php149/month. The price increase will take effect after December 2023. The Spotify Premium price increase was first revealed back in July 2023 with a $1 hike for US customers. After years of consistent pricing, Spotify will now implement price hikes for its various Premium subscriptions in several countries. All Premium subscriptions in the United States have a one-dollar increase in pricing, with the exception of the Duo plan, which has seen a two-dollar hike. Spotify is transparent enough to have determined a list of countries that will experience a price hike. According to Spotify’s FAQ page, current subscribers will receive an email notification, and have a one-month grace period before the new prices go into effect. Spotify has added a new Fitness hub with video workouts that Premium users can watch on phones, computers, and TVs.
