Google Philippines has announced that 360-degree panoramic views of more than 30 notable locations in the Philippines are now accessible via Google Maps. Thanks to the 360-degree panoramic view, Google Street View allows both tourists and locals to have a good view of a particular location. DOT Secretary Ramon Jimenez hopes that the addition Street View of key locations on Google Maps will provide a boost in tourism in the country. In a short statement, he said that “By allowing users to see a glimpse of the Philippines from wherever they are, we hope that Google Street View will inspire new visits from people who have not yet experienced the beauty of the country for themselves. And for those who have already been to the Philippines, we hope that this will give them new reasons to explore areas they may not have considered before, encouraging them to visit the Philippines again.” Below is the list of places in the Philippines where Google Street View is available.
