A recent Facebook post by LTFRB Citizen Enforcer detailed that students can now avail fare discount on weekends, holidays, and summer breaks. The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Memorandum Circular 2017-024 states that students can avail the 20% discount from Monday to Sunday with the inclusion of legal and special legal holidays and summer breaks. Before, students can only avail discounts on weekdays with the exclusion of holidays and summer breaks. Though great news, this memorandum, unfortunately, does not cover Post-graduate students.
