(Smart), suggests that TNT and Smart are the leading mobile brands in the Philippines with the greatest number of subscribers. Smart is the leading mobile group with the greatest number of subscribers, with a combined 59% of respondents claiming to use its brands including TNT, Smart Prepaid, and Sun Prepaid. Globe Telecom, on the other hand,  gained 6.6million new subscribers. Globe trumps PLDT in almost every category except for the Prepaid segment where the combined Smart and Sun prepaid subscribers are 1.5million more than Globe prepaid consumers. Globe's TM mobile brand also trumps PLDT's Talk N Text with more than two million subscribers, driven mainly by its affordable promo offerings. The total number of subscribers, including its mass market brands, only leaves Globe with more than 30,000 advantage versus the combined PLDT brands. Until August 31, 2026, new subscribers can enjoy 50% off their monthly fee for the first four months. Globe Prepaid and TM subscribers can access the service through a Globe Starlink promo starting at PHP 99, while Globe Platinum and Postpaid users with Plan 1499 and above can use it at no extra cost.
