400MB of data at Php20 for 24 hours is not bad at all when compared to other promos like the GoSurf30 with 50MB. Globe Telecom is now offering volume-based mobile internet surfing plans with their Globe PowerSurf promo -- starting with 50MB for Php99, valid for 30 days. Here's the full pricing plan: Subscribers with Globe Postpaid Plan, My Super Plan, My Fully Loaded Plan, or My Super Circle Plan can avail of this offer except when you are on Load Tipid Plans, Load Allowance Plans, Globe Broadband Tattoo Plans or My SuperSurf Plans. The service auto-renews after the expiration date so you need to text PowerSurf Off to 8888 if you want to un-subscribe. Was wondering at first why they did it on a daily basis instead of monthly then realized that there's no 30-day SuperSurf for prepaid (just for postpaid). However, unlike Smart's Fair Use Policy which throttles you down to a slower speed, Globe's SuperSurf will totally disconnect you to their network when you reach the daily limit. You can go back and surf again the following day, when your 800MB quota will be refreshed.
