The newly announced Surface Laptop will be released in the middle of June but there are already some demo units in all Microsoft Stores in the US. The Surface Laptop compliments the existing PC line-up of Microsoft and sits between the portable Surface Pro 4 and the uniquely-designed Surface Book. In a way, the Surface Laptop is the standard type of the line-up -- no removable keyboard, no tablet mode, no Surface Pen included (but still supports it). A unique design touch of the Surface Laptop is the use of an Alcantara covered keyboard which is a synthetic yet soft and durable type of fabric. I liked the keyboard on the Surface Pro 4 and the one on the Surface Laptop is even better. The Surface Laptop features an unusual 13.5-inch display with 3:2 aspect ratio and resolution of 2256 × 1504 pixels. Microsoft has launched the Surface Laptop 5G for business users, powered by Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors and built-in 5G cellular.
