TCL has just announced that it has garnered the Global Top 2 TV Brand spot by market share from January to December 2022, according to OMDIA's Global TV Sets Report 2022. According to TCL, the report suggests that their large-size TV offerings have gained significant momentum over the past year, as they have remained the No. TCL’s sub-brand FFALCON has unveiled the Thunderbird 2026 Crane 7 Pro QD-Mini LED TV series in China. The TVs feature a QD-Mini LED Butterfly Wing HVA panel with a 7000:1 contrast ratio and up to 3,840 local dimming zones on the largest model. TCL unveiled a new lineup of display and AI-powered innovations at CES 2026. Leading the showcase is TCL’s new SQD-Mini LED technology. This technology debuts in the TCL X11L, the world’s first TV powered by SQD-Mini LED which features peak brightness of up to 10,000 nits and over 20,000 dimming zones. TCL also previewed deeper Gemini integration for Google TV and future Dolby Vision 2 support this year.
