Through an announcement made earlier today, the Katsuhiro Harada has made it official that the popular fighting game will indeed have three new characters which include a Filipina kickboxer named Josie Rizal. As of the time of writing, Harada and his team have not yet announced when Tekken players will be able to use the game’s first Filipina character. Although the Jollibee character rumored to make it on Tekken 7 isn't likely to come true, a new character from Bandai Namco Games's latest fighting game is reported to possibly be a Filipina. We've reported before that Tekken’s game director and chief producer Katsuhiro Harada has mentioned that he will be considering a Filipino character, and if ever this does push through it won't be the first time that they will be incorporating our culture into their game.
