This puts Telstra as among the biggest members of the Philippine Open Internet Exchange, which currently owns EAC-C2C (which it recently acquired from Pacnet in April 2015) and co-owns APCN-2 which has a bandwidth capacity of 17.92 Tbit/s to 30.72 Tbit/s. This development only fuels the preparation for Telstra's entrance in the mobile network service in the Philippines which is supposed to be a partnership with San Miguel.
