I've been a fan of the Flock browser ever since I discovered it years back. I installed the beta copy here and was greeted by a more socially-aware browser. Facebook and Twitter streams are integrated into the browser. I personally liked the extensions on Chrome because it doesn't require a restart of the browser. More impressively, the company is baking in a bold hardware longevity promise, asserting that the battery chemistry will last for seven full years of regular use before degrading past 80% of its original effective capacity.
