Over at KickStarter, a site that allows inventors to harness the power of the crowd to fund its project, this nifty little device is getting some serious attention. Got an email from one of their founders and I think I like the Oona enough to shell out some dough to fund it. Xiaomi’s top-of-the-line flagship, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, is now available on the Leica Store Philippines. While Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 17 Ultra locally earlier this year, this marks the first time an Ultra variant has become available at a physical retail store. To recap, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra boasts an imaging system co-engineered with Leica. The camera system centers on a 50MP main sensor, featuring the Light Fusion 1050L sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and LOFIC HDR technology. Up front, the phone features a flat 6.9-inch LTPO OLED flat display, a variable refresh rate from 1- to 120Hz, and a peak brightness of 3500 nits. Under the hood, it boasts the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.
