Meta is said to launch a web version of Threads early this week according to The Wall Street Journal. Introducing a desktop version of Threads has been on a long list of features wanted by users. This is also supplemented by the head of Instagram Adam Mosseri saying that the desktop version of Threads is in the works. As of writing if you head to threads.net, you will be greeted with a QR Code that will lead you to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store in order to download the app. Instagram's new social platform Threads was just launched a few days ago and has gained a large number of users in just a short span of time. Moreover, users had begun to notice that they can only currently disable or deactivate their Threads account, but in order to fully delete their Threads account, they would have to delete their Instagram account as well. This issue has caught the attention of the head of Instagram Adam Mosseri, who has now issued a response on his Threads account. He clarified that users can still deactivate their Threads account which should hide their Threads profile and content.
