A video on Twitter uploaded by user Jeremy Burge reveals that even when it is running on the background, TikTok can check his iPhone's clipboard every few keystrokes. TikTok is rolling out Shared Collections, a feature that lets users organize TikTok content together in one space, and is preparing to launch Shared Feeds for watching content based on shared interests. TikTok is adding a new toggle allowing users to set a limit on how much AI-generated content may appear on their feed or For You page. “Like those controls, the AIGC setting is intended to help people tailor the diverse range of content in their feed, rather than removing or replacing content in feeds entirely,” said TikTok in a press release. TikTok is rolling out the feature “in the coming weeks.” In addition, the company is also testing “invisible watermarking” to improve labeling of AI-generated content on the platform.
