This November, the Philippine arm of Uber will open a new solution to the traffic in Metro Manila under their service. UberCOMMUTE is the new platform from Uber PH to be introduced to the public. It's similar to the already operational uberHOP and uberPOOL service, but it will be a more traditional carpooling of private vehicles in which the driver will be able to share his drive and split the cost of the trip. According to Uber, driver-commuters can expect to save up Php10 for every kilometer traveled while rider-commuters can save up to 30% cheaper fare than an uberX trip. Starting June 15, you can be one of the first to try uberPOOL — a ride sharing feature that Uber launched in other countries that has been proven to cut down on the number of cars on the road.
