Great news Uber riders! You'll now get to enjoy the perks of UberPool's fixed fares to your destination on UberX. Starting October 12, all Uber riders who'll opt for UberX will have fixed fares or Upfront Fares as the company calls it. Like your usual UberX ride, Uber will automatically calculate the expected time and distance plus the traffic situation and driver availability when you're booking. If you'll have extra stops for your UberX, you'll be charged with the original time and distance rates as it affects the calculation of your trip.
