The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) has announced 44 free online courses for 2025. These courses are available through the open university's MODeL (Massive Open Distance eLearning) platform, and students can take them at their own pace throughout the year. The University of the Philippines (UP) has announced that it will continue the operation of Project NOAH (Nationwide Operational Assessment of Hazards). At its 1325th meeting on February 23, 2017, the University of the Philippines Board of Regents approved the adoption of Project NOAH (Nationwide Operational Assessment of Hazards) by UP upon the termination of its administration by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) on February 28. This is why the University of the Philippines has launched an online channel called TVUP that will air educational programs for free through streaming. [but] one way that universities like UP can help solve these problems is by creating these spaces, not just building classrooms and laboratories, but spaces like mindsets, values and attitudes,” university President Alfredo Pascual said during its launch at the UP Diliman campus in Quezon City. The De La Salle University Laguna Campus has announced that it is offering a new 4-year degree in Game Development in partnership with Ubisoft.
